Afterward, your teeth will look better, but the bleaching process is not

Dr. Tanzania Davis will send you home with a home bleaching kit. The kit
consists of gel trays and bleaching gels. You will be instructed to wear
the gel tray every night for fourteen days. At the end of the fourteen
days, your teeth will be much more white. They’ll be so white, that you
may think that the process is over. Well, there’s still one more step.
You will make a return visit to the dentist, wherein bleaching gel will
be applied, as well as a desensitizing gel to your teeth. What happens
is that the bleaching gel cleans the stains from your teeth, but it also
unplugs the microscopic holes that make up the surface of your teeth.
And when those holes are unplugged, the teeth will become overly
sensitive. The desensitizing gel plugs those holes, thereby
desensitizing the teeth.
Two out of three patients experience no sensitivity during this process.
The ones who do experience sensitivity, rate it at less than ten
percent, and over time, the sensitivity dissipates to nothing. At the
end of this return visit, your teeth will appear even more white than

have to give up all those stain-inducing substances such as coffee, tea,
